Hi, my name is Kristin Downey, and I've had a life long passion for horses. I
have ridden and been around horses for most of my life. I have a wonderful
husband, Joe. We have five "children" of the four-legged kind.
I first heard about Equine Assisted Therapy from an article in The Current
newspaper in March 2004. I called Ginni up as soon as I read the article, and
signed up for the first volunteer training. I started coming to EAT to work
with the horses, and fell in love with the riders and I have never left. I started
working on my PATH International instructor certification in November of
2004, and finished in April of 2005. I really love working with both the riders
and the volunteers. It is so nice to work with such a wonderful group of
people that truly care.
