My first exposure to therapeutic riding was through a family member involved with a
program in Colorado. This sparked my curiosity and led me to look for a program
locally.

Volunteering for E.A.T. was originally a way to stay connected with my life long love
of horses.  Since March of 07 I have been blessed to share many special moments
with students and to see the benefits of therapeutic riding first hand.  Inspired by
the devotion shown by the instructors, students, parents and volunteers I have
started the process to achieve NARHA Instructor Certification.

I have been married for 23 adventurous years to my husband Mike.  We have three
wonderful sons; one in collage and two in high school. Our family enjoys an active
lifestyle including hiking with our two dogs, motorcycling & travel. Along with my
children becoming more independent  there is opportunity for me to pursue another
path in life’s journey.

I look forward to growing along with the students and the E.A.T. program.  What a
gift to be purposeful and receive so much back in return.
